Sleepwalk Recording is a multi-track digital/analog recording studio located on the outskirts of beautiful Bloomington Indiana. I can't say much more other than it's a great spot to record sound. It's an amazingly laid back atmosphere where music is the only focus other than the pro Foosball table and the three par golf course in the back yard. I opened this studio in 2009 because I love working with creative people and there's no better feeling than helping someone accurately document their vision.

The Studio is 1,200sqf with a large live room, an isolation room, amp isolation room and a control room with a really comfortable couch and a super sweet "mixing throne". All the gear has been painstakingly researched and paid for, by me, so you can bet it sounds fantastic and that I know what to do with it. Recording sessions should be fun, laid back and uninhibited but also productive and I'm a firm believer in the freedom of expression so I encourage all levels of experience and musical genres to record at Sleepwalk.

This should be a super sweet sweaty summer.

Recent additions to the studio includes The Wunder Audio CM7-GT w/ M7 capsule Microphone. It is absolutely the best vocal microphone I've heard, nice and woolly in the low end and smooth and airy at the top. The Barefoot Audio Micromain 35 monitors have been an valuable addition as well. These 3-way monitors with integral subs provide a depth and fidelity I've never heard before and are an absolute listening pleasure, but most importantly they provide effortless transparency that allows mixes and masters to translate beyond the studio control room. More additions on the way....

That's all for now, thanks for checking us out!
